November 2010 – Sound Fighter Systems (SFS), a Shreveport based manufacturer of sound barrier walls, was honored for the improvements made to its headquarters and production facility in Shreveport, Louisiana which included updating components of the building itself to be more energy efficient, as well as other landscape and aesthetic treatments.
The Shreveport Beautification Award was presented by Shreveport Green on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the Shreveport Green Annual Awards Banquet held at East Ridge Country Club. The plaque presented to Sound Fighter Systems states “Honored for taking the initiative to improve their surroundings through enhancement.”
Shreveport Green is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the city’s environment and enhancing its economy through public education and community beautification, litter abatement, and recycling projects.
